We continue to make steady progress on the modules for the Power System Analysis course. Our current work focuses on two elements that are fundamental to long‑distance power transfer: transmission lines and transformers. A clear understanding of their operating principles, together with accurate modeling, is essential for developing robust representations used in power‑flow analysis of electric power systems.

Consistent with our approach in the other modules, we combine rigorous academic content with a flipped‑classroom strategy, enabling learners to acquire most of the material independently.

We have also received feedback from partners in Zimbabwe via the QIP platform on several of the modules developed to date. Over the coming weeks, we will review this feedback and incorporate the most relevant best practices recommended by our subject‑matter experts.

Our next modules will focus on fault analysis in electric power systems.
