Building Knowledge: Power Systems Course In Progress

We’re excited to welcome Alex Junior da Cunha Coelho to the EU-ZW team! Alex will be actively involved in the project with the Universidad Politecnica de Madrid partner, contributing directly to the development of a new Power Systems course. This course covers the fundamental principles behind how electricity is generated, transmitted, and distributed, as well as the key components and challenges of modern power grids.

And now for some big news: the first module of the course is complete! 
This initial module, which also served as a testbed for exploring the Learnify platform, provides a general overview of what an electrical system is and introduces the main building blocks: generation, transmission, and distribution. It sets the stage for more in-depth topics to come in the following modules, such as grid analysis and operation or renewable integration.
