Eng Samson Mhlanga CoC Of The Digital Challenge-Driven Circular Energy Transition Learning Collaboration Project EU-ZW Exhibited Under The EU Delegation Zimbabwe At The Southern Africa Youth Forum SAYoF 10-13 August 2024 In Harare, Zimbabwe. The Theme Was “Empowering The Future: Innovative Education For Sustainable Development In Southern Africa”.
On The 13th The Youth Sounding Board (YSB) Lead By Introduction And Welcome Remarks Of The EU, Followed By A Briefing About The YSB And Experience As A YSB. ERASMUS+ Presentation Of The EU-ZW Project Supported Through The ERASMUS Capacity Building For Higher Education Was Done By Eng Samson Mhlanga, National University Of Science And Technology. Youth Action Plan And Its Projects And WYDE Project- Girls And Women Empowerment Network Were Some Of The Panellists' Presentations.
Highlights In The Interactions And Presentations Were The Main Goals Of The Project To Digitalise And Modernise Energy Courses In The Five HEIs (National University Of Science And Technology, (NUST); University Of Zimbabwe UZ; Chinhoyi University Of Technology (CUT); Midlands State University (MSU), Lupane State University (LSU) in Zimbabwe Through Co-creation Of Modules At The Explore Energy Dital Academy (EEDA) Accessible To The Students In The Institutions. Development Of Challenge Driven Programme After Training And Collaborating From The EU HEIs (Malardalen University (MDU) And Polytechnical University Of Madrid (UPM) And Energy Explore Sweden AB (EES). The Driven To Develop Remote Laboratories That Would Give Students And Youth Access To Laboratories In Europe And Africa Verse-versa Would Enhance The Skills Development By The Youth And Stimulate Entrepreneurship. The Goal To Develop Short Courses Targeted For School Leavers And Industrial Which Would Lead To Certificates And Degrees Was Also Highlighted. The Interaction Was An Experience With Youth From The Southern Africa Region And Beyond Confirming The World Network Collaboration Under The EEDA Network In Which EU-ZW Project Is Participating. EU-ZW Appreciate The Funding Support By The EU Which Will Go A Long Way In Youth Sustainability Development Of Their Countries, Region And The World.
